We are almost at the end of July...where did the last couple of months go?

We had a beautiful Matariki celebration at Learning Links Montessori. We invite one of our parents to play the guitar for our tamariki while we roasted bread and marshmallows on sticks. The children loved the experience with the open fire while listening to the beautiful tunes played by Aaron.

A couple of other parents supported us to make poi with the children as well as teaching them how to use them. We also enjoyed yummy star biscuits the children had baked the day before, dipped in a hot chocolate.

What a stunning mild winter day in Dunedin, just perfect to celebrate the Maori New Year with our community.
